According to a statement by the centre, one of the three fatalities had not been vaccinated against the disease, while the other two had been vaccinated twice or three times respectively.

The centre pointed out that the three victims, two females and a male aged 88, 94 and 60 years respectively, had suffered from chronic diseases.
