Macau’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre said in a statement yesterday that as COVID-19 is spreading in the community, the Health Bureau (SSM) has issued guidelines for all medical institutions to provide services to people infected or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 having urgent medical assistance needs.
Medical institutions should make arrangements to reduce the length of time patients stay on their premises and take other appropriate prevention measures to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus, the statement underlined, adding that people infected or suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus should try to make appointments and follow the arrangements of medical institutions.
