Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (GLP) said in a recent statement that it has acquired the renowned Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification via SGS Hong Kong Limited, a third-party certification agency, for food safety management, which it described as testament to its commitment toward implementing stringent food safety management practices.
According to the statement, since its opening in 2021, the resort has strictly implemented food safety standards to provide hygienic and high-quality culinary services for both guests and team members. The statement added that in the future, the resort will continue to “go above and beyond” to carry out stringent international food safety standards, while strengthening its hygiene regulations to protect the health and safety of all guests and team members.
The statement noted that HACCP certification is an internationally recognised food safety management standard system that complies with international food safety standards, guidelines, and the code of conduct established by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), an official body established by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations in the hope of protecting the health of all individuals.
