The Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) said in a statement on Saturday that sailings between the Taipa Ferry Terminal in Pac On and Shenzhen airport will restart tomorrow, so as to provide convenient cross-border transport services for citizens and passengers using the airport and more options for travel in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) regions.
The ferry services between the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and Shenzhen airport resumed yesterday, according to the statement.
The statement underlined that the bureau has coordinated with shipping companies to complete a raft of preparatory work, including sea trials, berthing trials and inspections of terminal facilities, while requesting ferry operators and the cleaning companies of the two terminals to step up the cleaning and disinfection of public facilities and vessels at the terminals.
