The Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement last night that a police officer has been caught for viewing others’ immigration records several times on an electronic devicewhile on duty.
The Immigration Department is run by the Public Security Police (PSP).
The suspect admitted scrutinising the records without permission.
The case was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP) yesterday morning, where the suspect faces a charge of abuse of power, the statement said.
