NOVA Mall invites members of the public to welcome the Year of the Rabbit at the property with its “Let’s Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit Under the Stars @ NOVA Mall” campaign, the mall said in a statement yesterday.
The statement noted that the campaign features an over three-metre-tall “Fortune Rabbit” installation and other Chinese New Year installations displayed at the mall’s Atrium.
Mall visitors are also invited to participate in breaking the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the “Largest Display of Origami Stars”! The statement said that until January 29, customers spending 500 patacas on a single transaction or above via cash or electronic payment at the mall’s participating merchants can get a red Origami Star Paper to write down their new year wishes.
The paper can then be folded into a star and placed into the mall’s “Wishing Bottle”. Participants can also receive a NOVA Mall red envelope before January 21.
From January 22-24, customers can also get an exclusive Year of the Rabbit Spring couplet and join the “Year of The Rabbit Lucky Draw” for a chance to win a 999.9 carat gold rabbit ornament and shopping cash vouchers, the statement said.
The statement added that a Lion Dance ceremony will be held at the Atrium on January 24, where kids dressed in CNY costumes will also distribute NOVA Mall designed souvenir gold coins and new year blessings to every customer.
Meanwhile, the mall has also collaborated with BNU on exclusive privileges during the promotional period. The statement noted that customers spending 500 patacas or above via BNU VISA credit card at the mall’s participating merchants will get 5 percent spending rebate as well as getting an extra chance to join the lucky draw. Each credit card account can have up to 600 patacas rebate with registrations on the BNU website.
Nova Mall General Manager Paul Lee Yan Kwong was quoted in the statement as saying “from festive clothing, home appliances and decorations, to arranging celebration dinners and watching festive movies, an integrated lifestyle shopping destination like NOVA Mall will surely fulfil your celebrations with a series of comprehensive shopping, entertainment, and dining experience. We wish everyone a healthy and prosperous new year ahead!”.
