MGM received a total of 30 Asia-Pacific human resource awards in 2022, the gaming resort operator said in a statement earlier this week.
The awards, the statement noted, covers a string of good HR practices such as employee training and talent development, as well as workplace culture.
MGM Chief Strategic & Financial Officer Kenneth Feng Xiaofeng was quoted in the statement as saying: “In the course of economic recovery, we will tap into our industry’s competitive advantage to further uplift the capability of industry talents, in a bid to foster the high-quality development of Macau’s integrated tourism and leisure industry”.
In the National Human Resources Innovation Competition’s second edition, MGM was the most awarded Macau entrant of the year, winning “HR as Strategic Business Partner of the Year”, “Talent Development of the Year”, “Corporate Culture of the Year” and “Chief HR Officer of the Year”, according to the statement. It also came third overall among all nationwide entrants.
Moreover, for its training programmes, the statement said that the Community Outreach eLearning Series Programmes organised in conjunction with the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and the Macau Deaf Association was named a “Quality Training Course” in Xinhua Daily Media Group’s “Construction of Quality Training Courses & Learning Projects of the Year”.
The online learning platform MGM eAcademy, which has provided over 15,800 courses to date, also won “Best Digital HR Team” by HRTech China, the statement noted.
Meanwhile, for its corporate culture, MGM also attained “Employee Experience Awards 2022 – Best Learning and Development Programme” awarded by Asia’s industry magazine Human Resources for its talent cultivation efforts.
The statement added that MGM won Gold in “Best HR Communication Strategy” at the Employee Experience Awards 2022 organised in Hong Kong and was named “The Best Workplace to Work” by the Committee of the Pudong International Talent Hub Forum, among other awards.
