Macau’s 105 hotels recorded 1.07 million guests in August, a year-on-year increase of 7.7 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.
Guests from the mainland (688,000), Hong Kong (178,000) and Taiwan (40,000) rose 5.5 percent, 14.3 percent and 11.8 percent respectively.
The number of guests from South Korea leapt 40.3 percent to 28,000.
