“Music is Live” was held at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf’s outdoor lawn on Saturday that featured a line-up of performers from Macau and Hong Kong, according to a statement from the property yesterday.
The statement noted that the concert was held by Macau Fisherman’s Wharf in conjunction with Wan Xing International Entertainment Culture to “encourage cultural exchanges and the development of the entertainment industry” between the two special administrative regions (SARs).
The performers, which included Hubert Wu Hung Kwan and James Ng Yip Kwan, performed their greatest hits and interacted with fans by playing games and taking photos.
Macau Legend Development’s Chairman, Executive Director and CEO Thomas Li Chu Kwan was quoted by the statement as saying, “In addition to concerts, Macau Fisherman’s Wharf will continue curating engaging activities such as the launch of a quarterly Weekend Market starting in March.”
Li added that “Macau Fisherman’s Wharf will utilise its unique cultural tourism and platform resources, and create themed activities gathering rich and diverse sightseeing, gastronomy, shopping, cultural and entertainment experiences for locals and tourists”. Li also said that the waterfront complex will continue to cooperate with different sectors to “to support the development of Macau’s tourism, entertainment, creative and cultural industries”.
