The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL), the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the zone’s Financial Development Bureau have joined hands and implemented an internship programme, with a total of 43 Macau youths participating in the two specialised programmes, namely e-Sports and Modern Finance, according to a DSAL statement yesterday.
The statement pointed out that three more internship programmes are planned this year, expected to be launched gradually after May, covering e-competition, cultural tourism and business, and film and television production.
According to the statement, the 43 participants joined two specialised projects, e-Sports and Modern Finance, under the internship programme, which had a duration of eight to 12 weeks in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, for which they all received their finishing certificates yesterday.
The statement said that it was hoped that Macau’s young people are able to learn about the latest development of related industries in the mainland through the programme, and also develop comprehensive business skills, thereby broadening their career development.
The statement said that the DSAL will continue to work closely with the zone’s relevant departments, in order to launch more projects conducive to the career development of young people in Macau.
