The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) said in a statement yesterday that it handled 806 temporary residency applications for the “Investors, Managerial Personnel and Professionals with Special Qualifications” category last year.
According to the statement, the applications comprise 511 renewal applications, 20 applications for “residency extension to dependents”, and 275 new applications.
Moreover, the statement noted that according to the statistics and industry classification of approved new applications in 2022, five cases involved the education, financial services and other sectors.
