A study on local women’s physical and mental health conditions released yesterday shows that around 40 percent of the respondents displayed symptoms of depression or were affected by poor physical health
Targeting local women from the age of 18, the Women’s General Association of Macau (commonly known as Fu Luen) conducted the study from April to June, and announced the results yesterday during a press conference at the group’s headquarters in San Kio district.
The study was conducted through questionnaires and online surveys, and 1,245 valid responses were collected. Most of the respondents were between 26 to 55 years old, married, members of a nuclear family and had a salaried job.
