Govt rejects ‘irresponsible’ US remarks

The Macau government has “categorically” rejected the “irresponsible remarks” and “unfounded accusations” about Macau in the latest report by the US Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC).

The report was released by the CECC in Washington late last week. 

The government also said in its response on Friday that “no foreign country has the right to interfere in [Macau’s] internal affairs”, pointing out that Macau is an integral part of China.
