The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that 52 creative handicraft workshops will be held, including 10 sessions for families, during the Tap Siac Craft Market from April 20-23 and April 27-30 in Praça do Tap Seac.

“Tap Siac” is the bureau’s alternate spelling for “Tap Seac”.

According to the statement, the workshops will include ceramics, bonsai and painting. Registration can be done at www.craftmarket.gov.mo until 5 p.m. on April 3. The fee for each handicraft workshop is 50 patacas. More details can also be found on the website.

The statement noted that each person can register for a maximum of two workshops, but only one registration per workshop. For family workshops, each child can register for a maximum of two workshops, but only once per workshop.

A lucky draw will be held to choose applicants, with those successful being notified via SMS on April 11, the statement said. Successful applicants on the waiting list will be notified by SMS on April 14. The statement underlined that chosen applicants must pay the registration fees within the specified period.

Moreover, applicants arriving 10 minutes after the workshop has begun will be disqualified, replaced by on-site applicants on the waiting list and will not receive a refund of their registration fees. More details can be found on the “Registration Notes”.
