The Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement yesterday that organisations interested in competing in the upcoming 2023 SJM Macao International Dragon Boat Races should submit their team entries by 10 p.m. tonight before registering to participate in which race categories, starting on Monday.
The races are slated to be held on June 17, 18 and 22 at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, the statement noted.
Team entries can be submitted at www.cmdragonboat.org.mo to obtain an online account, after which they can register to participate in race categories between 10 a.m. on Monday and 10 p.m. on April 10.
According to the statement, this year’s local races include the Macao Small Dragon Boat Race (60 teams for Open Category, 24 teams for Women’s Category), Macao Government Departments Small Dragon Boat Race (18 teams), Macao University Student Small Dragon Boat Race (12 teams for Open Category) and Macao Standard Dragon Boat Race (36 teams for Open Category and 18 teams for Women’s Category).
Successfully registered teams should submit information such as the team list by 10 p.m. on May 15, while application for the change of team members must be submitted by 10 p.m. on May 22. Late registrations or applications will not be accepted.
