The Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) will launch two new programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year, which are the Master of Science in Digital Marketing and Analytics, as well as its corresponding Postgraduate Diploma.
The statement noted that the new programmes, which will be taught in English, will come into effect once they are published in the Macau Special Administration Region (MSAR) Gazette. The new programmes will focus on “core areas of marketing and high-end retail management in the context of digital transformation”.
The statement said that the programmes aim to deliver technology-based marketing and data analysis education that is “interdisciplinary and responsive to new developments in tourism, luxury and other related high-end service businesses”; and equip students with digital knowledge and skills needed to maintain and upgrade marketing communication in the field.
It also aims to develop students into professionals who can use data-driven analysis to contribute to the efficient and sustainable development of business.
The statement said that applications for postgraduate diploma and master’s degree programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year are open until July 14, while applications for doctoral degree programme are open throughout the year, according to the statement. Scholarships are also available.
