The Social Security Fund (FSS) said in a statement on Tuesday that it has added an electronic payment service to “Macao One Account” for employers to use.

According to the statement, April is the contribution month of the first quarter of this year for the Social Security System.

The statement noted that employers can use the service to pay mandatory system contributions for employees with no change in their employment situation or whose employment information has been reported through the Electronic Filing System, and for paying non-resident workers’ (NRWs) employment fees.

The statement added that voluntary system beneficiaries can pay contributions through the One Account this month.

Payers can use their accounts to log into the Macao One Account app or website in the contribution month, choose the payment service of the corresponding contribution system and enter the Macau ID card (BIR) number or employer registration number, according to the statement.

The statement underlined that after the details have been confirmed, payments can be made through GovPay’s electronic payment tools, MPay or credit card, with no need to visit a service point or bank.

The statement urged employers who applied to use the Electronic Filing Service to pay attention to the filing date so that they can pay contributions, as well as non-resident workers’ employment fees through AutoPay or the “Macao One Account”.

The statement added that employers who had no staff change during the quarter and have not applied for the Electronic Filing Service can also search the payment advice number and the amount payable for the relevant quarter at https://eservice.fss.gov.mo/Employer/cpa/Index?culture=en and use online banking to make the payment.

The statement said that aside from the “Macao One Account”, the voluntary system’s beneficiaries can also pay through various electronic payment channels.

Moreover, appointments in advance can be made through the Macao One Account, while ticket numbers can also be obtained online if they need to go to the Municipal Affairs Bureau’s (IAM) Public Services Centre and Sub-Station, or FSS service points to make their payments.
