Hennessy X.O is collaborating with the acclaimed British artistic director and fashion designer, Kim Jones, for the first-ever experiential pop-up at MGM COTAI’s the Spectacle, “Fabric of Time”, gaming resort operator MGM said in a recent statement.
The launch ceremony last Friday had over 100 attendees, with an eighth-generation member of the Hennessy family, Maurice Richard Hennessy, among the officiating guests.t
Hennessy was quoted in the statement as saying: “This collaboration with Kim Jones pays tribute to cognac-making and couture, two processes that touch on an understanding of science and the natural world as well as artisanal craftsmanship and savoir-faire”.
Meanwhile, MGM’s Senior Vice President of Hospitality Iwan Dietschi said: “This one-of-a-kind experiential pop-up fusing one of the world’s most premier luxury brands with couture and art, pertains to MGM’s commitment to bringing innovative, unparalleled, and exquisite products and experiences to Macau, luring guests from near and overseas.”
The statement noted that the pop-up features six zones and showcases three offers of the collaboration: the Hennessy X.O Masterpiece, Limited Edition, and the luxury sneaker HNY Low by Kim Jones. The Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones Limited Edition is also available for sale at the pop-up.
Hennessy X.O also collaborates with MGM for an exclusive tasting menu of Lingnan cuisine with Hennessy X.O pairing, “The Refined Indulgence Pairing Menu”, at the multi award-winning Imperial Court restaurant, where Chef de Cuisine Homan Tsui curated an eight-course menu.
