Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) Organizes Rallies to Cheer On Team Members

      With its newly developed properties, Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC) and Galaxy Arena, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently organized two sessions of the “Asian Heart Team Member Rally” at the Galaxy Arena, inviting its team members to become the first to experience the world-class entertainment venue and motivating them to strive for excellence. Led by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG, senior management members attended in person to express gratitude to team members for their diligence and contributions, and for their unity to offer international guests with a unique world-class integrated resort experience, underpinned by GEG’s “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy.



With shouts of joy from different sides, other senior management team members joined Mr. Lui on stage to engage with team members, during which they led the audience in forming a rhythmically-coordinated human wave using the Asian Heart symbol LED light stick that each team member was holding, which exemplified the unity of all GEG team members in offering the best Asian Heart service wholeheartedly.


As the “Asian Heart Team Member Rally” came to its finale, every GEG team member joyfully took part in the Asian Heart dance, which strengthened their team spirit and sense of belonging and livened the event’s atmosphere to its peak. To further indulge team members in the entertaining event, GEG invited famous Hong Kong artists Bob Lam and Sarika Choy as the rally’s emcees and arranged a host of entertainment spectaculars that included aerial performances, live DJ, catwalk and local band performances that created lasting memories for team members as GEG strides towards the new horizons.


Train for Versatility and Diversity to Facilitate Local Promotion

GEG values team members as its most important assets and proactively supports team members’ professional and holistic development through providing a variety of courses, workshops and lectures, with over one million hours of professional training offered in 2022. New training initiatives and elements were also included, aimed at improving team members’ understanding of the integrated resort and hospitality industries. To cultivate local tourism elites, from 2021 till now, GEG has increased the promotion rate of local team members to 80%.


To equip team members from various departments with in-depth knowledge about the integrated resort industry and hospitality sector, GEG rolled out various new training initiatives to encourage them to achieve self-enhancement, broaden horizon and reinforce core competitiveness. Among which, the “Macau & Integrated Resort Awareness Program” sought to provide team members a thorough understanding of the prospect and development of Macau’s tourism industry and Galaxy Macau’s working environment; the “Workplace Professionalism and Hospitality Mindset” program aimed to nurture hospitality professionals by introducing workplace professionalism and the “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy; whilst the “Embracing Change with Positivity” program focused on helping team members face change with a positive and flexible attitude.
