The National Security Education Exhibition was attended by over 60,000 visitors (almost 9 percent of the population) and had over 1.2 million visits to its official website, according to a Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS) statement.

The exhibition, co-organised by the local government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR), began in 2018 and was held for the sixth time this year from April 15 until yesterday at the Forum Macao complex, showcasing more than 350 photos and videos to demonstrate the nation’s achievements in various areas of national security and its development over the past 10 years, according to the statement.

Over 13,000 students participated in the exhibition’s side events, such as an essay competition, while a short video contest on national security, launched for the first time this year, received 51 entries from 29 secondary schools in Macau.

The official website of the National Security Education Exhibition will continue to be available for public access at https://eesn.gov.mo/, which also provides links to the previous years of the exhibition from 2018 to 2022.
