The deadline to submit rental applications for the individual shop units at the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin has been set at May 25, according to a statement from government-owned Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR).
According to the statement, the response since the applications were opened for the shop units at MNN has been “overwhelming”, with over 300 enquiries and applications received. The individual shop units are located in the central area of the project, which is at the junction of Tianyu Road and Xiangshun Road.
The statement noted that applications are open to businesses that can “meet the needs of residents living in the neighbourhood” including grocery and F&B retailers, as well as livelihood service providers.
The statement added that Macau enterprises and Macau Distinctive Shops can operate in the neighbourhood to tap into the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin market. Moreover, special offers will be explored while business opportunities will be created in conjunction with Macau entrepreneurs to support the city’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and young entrepreneurs’ start-ups
