A 47-year-old woman from Jilin province was arrested on Tuesday for alleged human trafficking and pimping involving a 17-year-old girl, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said at a special press briefing yesterday.
According to the spokesperson, Public Security Police (PSP) officers saw the 17-year old wandering around casinos in Cotai on May 3 and suspected she was a prostitute looking for clients.
They questioned her. As she was under 18, the police suspected she was a victim of human trafficking.
