Local telecom operator CTM is adding a new technology to its 4G network that will make download speed superfast and it will be available in its entire network next year, CTM Network Services Vice President Declan Leong Pui Hong said yesterday.
Leong made the remarks during a press briefing at CTM’s Praia Shop in Fai Chi Kei about applying the new FDD Carrier Aggregation Technology to its 4G network.
According to the press conference, thanks to the carrier aggregation technology the download speed in the 4G network will be twice as fast as now, an increase from 112 Mbps to 225 Mbps.
