Yesterday’s GCS statement did not reveal any details about the activities, events and meetings to be attended by Xia during his stay in Macau.
The GCS statement noted that Xia was a vice-chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which ran from March 2018 to March 2023.
