A 50-year-old female non-resident worker (NRW) from the mainland caught her right hand in a meat grinder during work yesterday, according to a statement by the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
The statement noted that the victim, who works at a restaurant near Pak Lei Estate’s Block 1 on Avenida da Longevidade, remained conscious while she was rushed the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre at about 2 p.m. yesterday.
The statement did not provide any follow-up information on the incident, such as the victim’s medical condition.
