Galaxy Macau said in recent a statement that it is launching the “Tastes of Macau, Artisans of Flavour’ campaign, adding that the “overwhelming response” has led to the integrated resort extending its exclusive dining offers, among other additional benefits.
The series, the statement noted, takes guests on a “captivating culinary adventure” and a behind-the-scenes look at the resort’s world class kitchens, with the short films celebrating Macau as the UNESCO-recognised “Creative City of Gastronomy” and redefining the resort’s image from a fresh perspective.
The statement said that guests can voyage into Cantonese cuisine at Lai Heen with Ritz-Carlton, Macau’s Chinese Executive Chef Jackie Ho Hon-sing, who has over four decades of culinary experience and has led his team to garner a One Michelin Star for seven consecutive years, and again in the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Restaurant in 2023.
At Michelin Selected restaurants, Terrazza Italian Restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine Luca Signoretti “paints a gastronomic portrait of his rustic Italian heritage”, the statement added, while at Cha Bei, Pastry Chef Jacky Yang showcases his “remarkable talent in translating the season’s palate into stunning and deliciously healthy creations”.
Moreover, the statement pointed out that the campaign also features food and wine recommendations, with 81⁄2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, a One Michelin Star for eight consecutive years and 2023 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Restaurant, to deliver three cuisines: Red Tuna, MAYURA Beef Duo, and Tiramisu.
The resort’s Chief Sommelier Han Yew Kong, meanwhile, recommends a signature French Champagne NV Larmandier Bernier, Latitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut for the campaign at the Terrazza Italian Restaurant, the statement said. The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge head bartender Shobit Shetty also presents the classic cocktail, Old Fashion.
The integrated resort also announced the extension of exclusive dining privileges for guests until June 18. The statement pointed out that guests can use their Visa cards to enjoy up to a 400 pataca instant rebate and a complimentary drink when savouring “Tastes of Macau, Artisans of Flavour” menus at Michelin two-star Hunan and Sichuan restaurant at StarWorld, Feng Wei Ju, and Galaxy Macau’s authentic Japanese fine dining restaurant Yamazato, Bei Shan Lou, Michelin Selected Restaurants Terrazza Italian Restaurant, and CHA BEI.
According to the statement, guests can also earn Galaxy Reward Points when using their ICBC Galaxy Macau Visa Card.
