Galaxy Macau said in a statement on Wednesday that “global megastar” Jackson Wang (王嘉爾) launched his “JACKSON WANG MAGICMAN WORLD TOUR” in Bangkok in 2022, with Galaxy Arena now set to host his show in Macau on July 15-16 after “captivating audiences across multiple continents”.
Wang is a rapper, singer, dancer, record producer, fashion designer, and music video director, according to Wikipedia. He debuted in the South Korean boy band Got7 in 2014.
Wang has “won the hearts of music fans” globally since his debut, the statement noted, with his talent having taken him to “remarkable heights” such as his appearance at the renowned Coachella Music Festival in California as the first-ever Chinese solo artist.
The statement underlined that Wang has been invited to perform at Coachella again due to his international appeal and cemented his status as a music icon. The statement added that his 2022 album “MAGIC MAN” reached 15 on the Billboard 200, being the first Chinese solo artist to break into the top-20, with Wang ranking 13 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in 2022.
