The current “When Tat Chi Met Chi Tat Duo Exhibition” is being held on the 2nd floor of the Ponte 16 resort, showcasing the works of Hong Kong fashion designer William Tang Tat-chi and Macau Fashion Designer Vincent Cheang Chi Tat who have both gained “new insights into the meaning of life” after three years of the COVID 19 pandemic, according to a recent statement.

Aside from being fashion designers, both Tang and Cheang are also media professionals and artists, the statement noted.

In spite of COVID-19 having confined them for some time, their creative endeavours never ceased, according to the statement, such as Cheang working on paintings about parallel universes showing Macau’s scenery in a “multiverse”, the statement said.

The exhibition comprises paintings, installations, new fashion design collections and related merchandise, the statement added, with each piece “interpreting and exploring their profound thoughts on ‘life’ and ‘home’” through different forms of expressions.

Co-organised by Ponte 16, the Macau Cultural Communication Development Association and Zero Distance Cooperative, the exhibition was originally slated to end on May 30, but has been extended to run through June 30. It is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
