University of Macau (UM) Professor Davis Fong Ka Chio said yesterday that the local convention and exhibition industry had good prospects next year, partly because of the central government’s strong support package for Macau’s development.
Premier Li Keqiang announced a 19-point support programme during his inspection visit to the city early this month.
Fong made the remarks while speaking to reporters after attending the annual meeting of the government-appointed Economic Development Council at the World Trade Centre Macau in Zape.
