The Judiciary Police (PJ) yesterday arrested a blue-card holder from the mainland for attempting to kill his colleague on Saturday after raping her in a drinks outlet in Fai Chi Kei where they worked and dumping her in a rubbish collection point.
According to the Judiciary Police, the suspect put the victim, whom he thought was dead, inside a cardboard box and dumped her half naked, in the rubbish collection point near the shop after cutting her neck. The victim was not in a life-threatening condition following emergency treatment, after being found by a passer-by and taken to hospital.
PJ spokesman Chan Cho Man briefed reporters yesterday near the rubbish collection point at the junction of Avenida do General Castelo Branco and Avenida do Conselheiro Borja, where PJ officers also arranged for the suspect to demonstrate what he did – showing PJ officers in a crime re-enactment how he dragged the cardboard box from the drinks outlet to the rubbish collection point.
