Several members of the government-appointed Urban Planning Council yesterday slammed the administration for rushing to propose the construction of government buildings in the eastern part of a land reclamation area known as Zone B off Nape, without providing “sufficient” details.
Some members also urged the government to withdraw the proposed construction plan, before the publication of an urban development plan for Zone B.
Yesterday’s regular meeting of the council, held at the Transport Bureau (DSAT), included a discussion of the proposed legal development conditions for the eastern part of Zone B.
