“The Sound of Beauty” concerts by top female mainland Chinese vocalists Tan Weiwei and Shan Yichun are slated to take place on August 12 at Wynn Macau in Nape and on August 19 at Wynn Palace in Cotai, according to a Wynn Resorts statement on Wednesday.
Tan, according to the statement, is one of the nation’s most famous female vocalists and has garnered recognition around the world for her vocal talent. She has received honours from the France International Music Expo after releasing her first album, and has appeared on CCTV’s most popular show of the year “Spring Festival Gala” six times.
Tan is known for performing a variety of musical genres and has been in a number of well-received musicals, the statement noted.
Tan was also praised for performances on the reality TV shows “I am a Singer” and “Sisters Who Make Waves S3”, the statement said.
Meanwhile, “The Voice of China” 2020 annual championship winner Shan Yichun is among the mainland’s new generation of female singers and has garnered a reputation for performing a range of music genres, the statement added. She performed on the reality TV competition “Infinity and Beyond” last year, taking her career further. She is currently a rising star in today’s music scene, the statement said.
