The government should force the developer of an 81.32-metre-high unfinished residential building near the Guia Lighthouse to reduce its height according to the legal height limit, a member of the government-appointed Central District Social Services Consultative Committee said yesterday.

Central Districts Social Services Consultative Committee member Wong Chou Tim made the suggestion before a meeting of the Central District Social Services Consultative Committee which was held behind closed doors at the Central District Residents Service Centre in Rotunda de Carlos da Maia.

Wong is a senior member of the Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations, commonly known as Kai Fong.
