The government will strive to complete a kidney transplant waiting list within a year, Tai Wa Hou,who headsthe Health Bureau*s (SSM)transplant working group, said on the sidelines of yesterday’s Macau Forum.
The forum, which is held every Sunday in Areia Preta Park, is a weekly public debate programme run by government-owned broadcaster TDM. About a dozen audience members attended yesterday’s forum.
The forum was about how to encourage residents to donate organs and establish a transplant waiting list.
