Conrad Macao said in a statement this week that its award-winning Bodhi Spa has introduced two gratifying wellness experiences: Lapidem Rituals and Crystal Sound Therapy Meditation Classes.
The spa is the only one in Macau that offers Lapidem Rituals, with the treatments combining intensive pampering with critically-acclaimed products from Japan, according to the statement, while Crystal Sound Therapy Meditation, aka singing bowl therapy, “brings inner stillness and a deep sense of peace”.
The statement said that Lapidem is noted for its philosophy that only when the body, mind and soul are balanced is beauty created, with the outlook showcased in its best-selling products including skin, body and hair care ranges.
The spa features four specially designed signature rituals that combines Lapidem’s results-driven range, ancient Japanese beliefs towards health and wellness, with the expertise of Bodhi Spa therapists: Healing Ritual, Purification Ritual, Energetic Alignment Ritual, and Gentlemen’s Escape Ritual. Each lasts 2.5 hours, with more details on http://www.londonermacao.com/hotels/conrad-macao/bodhi-spa.html
A range of highly functional and predominately all natural (95-100 percent) Japanese-made Lapidem products are also sold at the spa, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, the statement said that Crystal Sound Therapy, which has been practised for thousands of years, is known to lower stress levels and bring inner calm that “stimulates the body and mind to enter a natural meditative state”.
Its meditation classes take place in the Wellness Lounge, led by Thai practitioner and crystal sound therapy expert Nong Sompong. The statement noted that the sounds and vibrational frequencies emanating from the crystal quartz bowls are designed to unblock people’s chakras (energy centres) and promote a healthy flow of energy.
The first part of the class is a calming guided meditation combined with the bowls and the second is the resonating tones of the crystal bowls only.
The statement said that classes are available starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 10 a.m. on Saturdays, with small group classes available at 250 patacas per person; a two-person class for 500 patacas each; and a private class for 800 patacas.
Spa Operations Director Tracy Lord was quoted in the statement as saying: “We all need to escape daily pressures, and to take care of our body physically and our mind emotionally, and these new additions to Bodhi Spa’s comprehensive menu do just that”.
Bodhi denotes the state of enlightenment that finally ends the cycle of death and rebirth and leads to nirvana.
