The W Macau hotel opened at the Studio City gaming resort on Friday, Melco Resorts & Entertainment has announced.
The opening ceremony was held at Studio City on Friday, marking the debut of the W Hotels brand in Macau.
According to the statement, the W Hotel consists of 430 guestrooms and 127 suites, four restaurants and bars as well as indoor pool areas, along with 1,100 square metres of MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) space, and also featuring a professional recording studio.
W Hotels is a US upscale lifestyle hotel chain owned by Marriott International, designed by world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects. W Hotels takes inspiration from Macau’s unique East-meets-West culture and history, the statement said.
The hotel group now has four branded hotels in Macau, namely, JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, St Regis Macau, and Sheraton Grand.
