Two students who engaged in “indecent acts” have been expelled from the Macau Public Security Forces Academy (ESFSM) for “misconduct”, the Secretariat for Security (GSS) announced on its website yesterday.

In addition, according to yesterday’s announcement, another student who filmed the duo engaging in the indecent acts has also been expelled from the academy.

The academy first confirmed in a statement on Thursday last week that two of its students had engaged in indecent acts, as shown in a video clip circulating on the internet.

Last week’s statement said that concerning a video clip circulating on the internet showing two men engaging in indecent acts, the academy had confirmed that both were its students.

Last week’s statement strongly condemned the duo’s behaviour, saying that the academy had launched disciplinary procedures against them.

The GSS website announced yesterday that the three ESFSM students, i.e., the two who engaged in the indecent acts and the one who filmed them, had failed the “individual merit” module in the academy’s curriculum due to their misconduct. Consequently, the academy has decided to expel them, the website said.

The website underlined that the Macau Public Security Forces Academy has always attached great importance to the conduct and moral values of its students.

The website said that the academy will strengthen the education and supervision of its students with the aim of ensuring that all of them “have good conduct and moral values”.
