CAC – Círculo dos Amigos da Cultura de Macau (“Circle of the Friends of Macau’s Culture”) – said in a statement earlier this week that it will hold the “Celebration of the Moon - Mid-Autumn Festival 2023” Party at Albergue SCM on Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro tomorrow, promising an evening filled with “exciting activities”.
The free admission event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with eventgoers able to sample traditional Mid-Autumn Festival snacks and participate in a “festive riddle-solving game”, the statement noted.
Attendees can also have an opportunity to receive a traditional rabbit lantern or a piece of calligraphy created by Master Choi Chun Heng, according to the statement. An exhibition titled “Master Choi Chun Heng Chinese Calligraphy Art Charity Exhibition” will also be held during the event.
The statement added that the opening ceremony at 6:30 for the “Little Rabbit Lanterns - An Exhibition by Carlos Marreiros and Friends - Part 18 | On the occasion of the Celebration of the 74th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China” will also take place during the event. The statement said that 28 rabbit lanterns created by artists from around the world will be showcased and runs through October 19.
