A Henessy V.S.O.P Showtime Pop-up has recently opened at Promenade East of Galaxy Macau in Cotai, themed after “Enter the Show”, a short film for the brand that was directed by Oscar-winning Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, according to a recent Hennessy V.S.O.P statement.
Open until October 19, the statement noted that the pop-up store features retro theatre-like decorations, a giant dummy Hennessy V.S.O.P bottle, props and photo moments, among others.
An “unmissable highlight”, the statement added, is a virtual identity card that represents a character from the film, which can be generated after scanning an on-site QR code and also offers a chance to receive a limited-edition Hennessy V.S.O.P cocktail bottle.
The statement added that customers can get a set of limited-edition Enter the Show cocktail stirrers upon the purchase of a bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P exclusively at the pop-up.
Meanwhile, the pop-up also introduces the brand’s new sustainable packaging, with improvements such as a wooden bottle stopper and coating-free labels made of recycled paper, according to the statement.
The final week of the pop-up from October 12-19 will have the brand collaborate with rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and fashion designer Jackson Wang (王嘉爾). The statement said that the pop-up pays tribute to Wang’s role as the “Magic Man” in the short film with the Team Wang-themed “The Magic Man” cocktail bottle.
The pop-up also features the Hennessy V.S.O.P Limited Edition by Team Wang exclusively available at Galaxy Macau, limited to 1,500 bottles, according to the statement.
