The Government Headquarters will open to the public on the weekend of October 21-22, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the first time since 2020, according to a statement by the Government Headquarters Affairs Bureau (DSASG) yesterday.
Located on Avenida da Praia Grande, the Government Headquarters is open to the public two days a year, usually in the month of October. However, the Open Day activity was cancelled in 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic at that time.
According to the statement, during the Open Day, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the garden of the Government Headquarters, as well as the interior of the building, including its Multi-purpose Room, Lotus Room on the ground floor as well as the Great Hall, Green Room, Yellow Room and Blue Room on the upper floor.
The statement added that the Open Day will include a flower show entitled “Delicacies of Macau” with carnations as the theme flower, as well as a series of live musical performances by the Public Security Police Force Band and students from the Macau Conservatory.
