The annual Science and Technology Week held by the government-run Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) will be on from Thursday through Sunday at the Venetian’s Cotai Expo, according to a statement by the government-run fund yesterday.
The statement said that the four-day event will be held in conjunction with the 28th Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (28th MIF).
The exhibition area of the event is 3,200 square metres; it will display more than 200 booths from 131 exhibitors, displaying pet companion robots, human-computer interaction technologies, satellite projects and other high-tech products, the statement said.
A series of activities will be held during the Science and Technology Week, including enterprise matchmaking sessions that promote university-industrial research collaboration from the mainland and Macau, a China Medical Health technology roadshow, and a 2022 annual research project academic report, in order to strengthen science and technology cooperation between Macau and Hengqin, aiming to promote joint investment, the statement said.
