The Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) said in a statement yesterday that online registration is now open for its “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Application Training Programme (2023)”, slated to take place in November 25.

The statement noted that the training is held in conjunction with the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) and local mobile telecommunications operators.

The workshop, according to the statement, is themed “Frontier Technologies and Applications of Mobile Communications”. It will have Huawei experts introduce trends and prospects of the mobile communications industry and the industry’s innovative applications, among others.

The free workshop aims to enable local ICT professionals to understand industry trends and technological evolution, and to promote ICT’s different applications in different fields, the statement said.

There are 50 seats available, with a Huawei certificate to be provided to participants. The statement added that those aged at least 18 can join, with priority to be given to those working in the ICT field.

Online registration can be done on https://events.cpttm.org.mo/seminar/284 and the deadline is at 5:45 p.m. on November 1, the statement added.
