Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Lou Chan Fai announced in a statement that a case has been preliminarily classified as a dead body found, in which an elderly local man died after “falling from a height” yesterday.
According to the statement, the Judiciary Police were notified of the death by the Fire Services Bureau (CB) at 8:25 a.m. yesterday, saying that a dead man was found lying in a car park on Rua de Ma Kau Seak.
The statement noted that the deceased, who was chronically ill and had a weak physical condition, lived with his family. His family was out when the deceased fell from his flat.
Upon examination of the body, the injuries the victim sustained were consistent with a fall from a height, according to the statement, which noted that the exact cause of death has yet to be determined by a forensic examination.
