WASHINGTON - Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for "five musts" in China-US relations during talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken from on Thursday and yesterday.
The two sides must
1) uphold the common understandings reached by the two heads of state;
2) must stabilize bilateral relations;
3) must keep communication channels open;
4)must properly manage differences, disputes and frictions;
5) and must promote mutually beneficial cooperation,
said Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
