After having been held only via WeChat for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, civic leader Tina Ho Teng Iat, president of the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News, announced at a press conference on Friday that the 40th Macau Walk for a Million will be held, for the first time, both offline and online on December 10, with the starting point near the Kun Iam Statue on Avenida Dr Sun Yat-Sen.
The participants will walk along Praça do Lago Sai Van and Avenida Doutor Stanley Ho to the terminus of Largo do Pagode da Barra outside Ma Kok (A Ma) Temple.
Ho said that in addition to the offline campaign for the about 4-km-long charity walk, its WeChat “mini programme” will remain available for the public by turning on their WeChat “exercise app”.
