Around 4,000 runners participated in yesterday’s 6.2 km “Bank of China Proudly Sponsors: 70th Macau Grand Prix Celebration – Guia Circuit Fun Run”, with Wang Kun winning the men’s category, while Chio Tong Tong was crowned champion in the women’s category, according to a Sports Bureau (ID) statement.

The event marked the second Guia Circuit Fun Run after it was first held in 2018.

The statement noted that Wang completed the race with a time of 19:42, beating runners Biru Rai and Gurung Lil Bahadur into second and third place, respectively. Meanwhile, Chio finished with a time of 24:20 ahead of Chao Hang Fa and Mo Xiaojing, who finished second and third respectively.

The statement said that those in the top ten in both categories received trophies, while those who finished the race within the time limit received a commemorative medal and towel.

Participants can download their certificates from the BOC mobile app’s activity system or on the Sports Bureau’s website from today to November 19, the statement added. Event photos can also be downloaded from the activity system.
