Integrated Resort (IR) operator Conrad Macao said in a statement yesterday that it has raised over 35,000 patacas during its annual month-long Pink Inspired Campaign, which ran throughout last month.

The statement noted that the campaign is held in support of Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s breast cancer awareness campaign and the local charity Associação de Feliz Paraíso (“Happy Paradise Association”). This year also marked the ninth year that the resort has taken part in the campaign and is now a gold sponsor of the cancer fund.

Guests supported the campaign through ways such as purchasing a PINK afternoon tea set at Churchill’s Table or a pink-themed cake at Churchill’s Table Boutique, as well as having Bodhi Spa’s Lapidem Pink Inspired treatment, and by buying a limited-edition bear or duck from Londoner Gifts at The Londoner Macao, the statement said.

The statement added that the campaign also featured “Instagram-popular” pink decorative elements and exterior illuminations on the hotel lobby’s decorations and floral arrangements, The Londoner Macao’s façade, the Elizabeth Tower and the Eiffel Tower, with the latter three adorned with pink ribbons.

The Londoner Macao and Conrad Macao Hotel Operations Vice President Gonçalo Monteiro was quoted in the statement as saying: “Raising awareness is such an important step in the fight against breast cancer and we are honoured to have been a pro-active partner through the Pink Inspired campaign. We would like to thank our guests for their support in generously partaking in this meaningful initiative through their pink inspired purchases at Conrad Macao”.
