The four-day 13th China Macau International Yacht Import & Export Fair, co-organised by Nam Kwong Logistics Company Limited, China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) and the Macao Convention & Exhibition Association, in conjunction with China National Machinery Industry International Company Limited (SINOMACHINT), started yesterday at the Coloane Yacht Berthing Area, showcasing over 40 boats from all over the world in the 55,000-square-metre exhibition area.
According to a statement by the organisers, internationally renowned yacht brands participating in the fair include Azimut, Arnold & Son, Cartier, Lagoon, Sunseeker, Leopard, Beneteau, Albus and Monterey, in addition to well-known domestic brands such as Heysea Yacht Group. The event ends on Sunday.
Nam Kwong Logistics Company Limited President Jiang Weiliang was quoted by the statement as saying that the fair, featuring a forum and water sporting activities, is aimed at promoting the rapid development of China’s yacht industry.
Moreover, according to Jiang, the fair also provides a platform for participants to discuss the policy advantages of the yachting industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA), analyse the development status of the international and local yachting industry from multiple perspectives such as yacht design and manufacturing, new energy technology, supply chains and consumer demand, and explore the development strategy of the local yachting industry, opening up new ideas, new directions and new opportunities for the new development of the GBA.
The GBA consists of nine cities in Guangdong and the nation’s two special administrative regions, Hong Kong and Macau.
