The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) forecast yesterday that the temperature will drop from today and reach as low as 14OC over the Macau Grand Prix (MGP) weekend.

The observatory said that under the influence of a northeastern monsoon, the northerly wind will strengthen today, with gusty winds, and the temperature will drop to about 16OC tonight.

The bureau said that the weather will be cool and dry in the morning and evening, with a relatively big difference in temperature between day-time and night-time.

The weather station also said that early next week, the northeasterly monsoon will ease a bit, with clear skies during the day, and quite cool and dry weather in the morning and evening.

In addition, the observatory said that there may be minor flooding in the Inner Harbour area tonight due to the astronomical tide.

This chart provided by the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) mobile app early this morning shows its temperature forecasts for the next few days.
