Runners competing in this Sunday’s 2023 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon can collect their number bibs and information documents on the mezzanine floor of Broadway Macau in Cotai starting today, the Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement yesterday.
The bib collection period will run from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. between today and Friday, and between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, the statement noted. Runners can collect the items by presenting their registration receipt and ID.
The statement added that those unable to collect the documents themselves can send an authorised representative, who must bring his/her ID, a signed registration receipt, and a copy of the runner’s ID.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon Carnival will be held in Broadway Food Street this weekend, kicking-off on Saturday at 12 p.m., according to the statement. The carnival will feature game booths and a kids’ running competition, among others. There will also be an on-site lucky draw for prizes such as electronics and hotel accommodation, the statement said.
The statement noted that the “Most Creative Costume Award” will also be held and in order to participate, one is required to take a photo of oneself wearing his or her costume and upload it to the marathon’s app.
